We are a small family owned neighborhood dental practice servicing our local communities of Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown and Austin. With a background in dental surgery. Our awesome team of dentists & specialists provide treatment for everything from cleanings, implants, fillings, exams, wisdom teeth extraction, gum health, and cosmetic services like teeth whitening, veneers, and Invisalign.
Our practice philosophy focuses on excellence in treating patients with care and compassion. Our awesome team of doctors, nurses and coordinators will take the time to explain what is happening with your mouth, why certain treatments are recommended and what may happen if you delay or put off certain procedures. We will never try to convince you of treatment you don’t need and will teach you how to understand your records so you will be better informed.
We welcome patients of all ages to our family group practice. We accept nearly all forms of PPO dental insurance plans and will help to check and verify your plans for you. If you need special assistance or extra time feel free to let us know. We treat everyone like you’re our neighbors.
Founder and General Dentist
Allan Hsu, DDS
Dr Allan Hsu is a doctor of dental surgery at Crystal Lake Dental in Leander, TX and our sister practice, Red Bud Dental at Round Rock, TX. He graduated from the prestigious University of California at San Francisco dental school in 2008 and has been in family practice for over 12 years.
He started Crystal Lake Dental in 2014 after opening a busy group practice in Round Rock, TX. With experience in both pediatric and general dentistry, he has provided care for patients of all ages, including children with disabilities. He is also Yelp top-rated Austin Area Chinese Speaking dentist.

Rebecca Rightmer, DMD
Dr. Rightmer completed her training at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, as well as an additional year of General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Rightmer grew up in Taiwan and moved to the US in High School. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. She enjoys learning about everyone’s different life experiences and brings that care and interest to her dental patients. When she is not working, you will find her volunteering at Texas Mission of Mercy and on international mission trips. She understands that each person has his/her unique dental story, and various readiness for dental treatments. Her goal is to understand each patient to the best of her abilities and provide them the best possible dental care given their life circumstances.
Before completing her training, Dr. Rightmer was awarded two Pre-Doctoral Awards, from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry respectively. She is now an active participant in local and national study clubs (Capital Area Dental Society, New Dentist Study Club, Seattle Study Club, The Dawson Academy, Spear Education, Misch Implant Institute, Invisalign, American General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association). She plans to become a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry soon.
In her leisure time, Dr. Rightmer enjoys kayaking on Lady Bird Lake, listening to live music, and spending time with her husband and puppy.
Quyen Tran, DMD
Dr. Tran received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland before officially beginning her career in dentistry. Dr. Tran believes dentistry is art and enjoys bringing beauty and health to people. She is motivated by the ability to help people achieve their best appearance by having a beautiful, healthy smile! Dr. Tran also understands that dental discomfort can be excruciating and she’s made it her life mission to ensure she gets every patient she meets out of dental pain.
